Open House

How to Play Open Doors

You, Oscar, have just arrived from a rough flight, and things couldn't have started worse. Sometime during the trip, all your belongings fell off the plane. You beg Theo, the pilot who brought you to this island, to come back so you can find them, but he refuses, saying he has too many passengers. He takes off without you.

Trying to stay positive, you decide this might be the perfect opportunity to start fresh in your new beachside home. After all, it's just one suitcase... and luckily, you were wearing your favorite t-shirt on the flight. Time to check out your new place.

You greet your neighbor, who isn't exactly welcoming, and then head to your new home only to discover it looks nothing like the pictures in the real estate listing. The porch is falling apart, the rooms are wrecked, and it's clear today isn't your day. You can't help but wonder if you're on some kind of prank show.

Your first mission is to remove all the furniture covers in the hopes of finding a hidden camera. To do this, you'll complete match-3 puzzles that appear on the screen. Each match earns you points and helps you progress.

As you work, you notice the place is in such bad shape that there are even bugs crawling around. It's time to contact the real estate agency. You're sitting at your computer when the desk collapses. You'll have to put both the desk and chair back together before you can write to Mr. Fraudley, the man who sold you this disastrous house. You send him a message explaining the mess, and he immediately blocks you.

Just when you're feeling hopeless, your neighbor Charles surprises you by finding your missing suitcases, but the purple flower, which means so much to you, is still missing. He advises you to get a wardrobe to store your clothes. After that, you'll need to get some rest, which means buying a new bed.

Between each repair or furniture purchase, you'll play match-3 games to get what you need. Each successful round brings you closer to fixing up the house.

You try to leave the island again and again, but something always gets in your way. Meanwhile, you keep decorating, cleaning, and repairing. Eventually, you might discover that this dilapidated beach house has the potential to become your dream home.
