🔵 How to Play Diep.io

🎯 Game Objective

Diep.io is a competitive .io arena shooter where you control a tank and fight to survive while leveling up. Your mission is simple: destroy shapes and enemy tanks, grow stronger, and dominate the battlefield.

You start as a Level 1 basic tank. The maximum level is 45, and every 15 levels you can evolve into a more advanced tank with unique abilities. When an upgrade is available, you’ll see the option on the lower-left side of the screen.

💥 Destroy to Level Up

At the beginning, focus on shooting geometric shapes scattered around the map. These give you experience points without the high risk of fighting other players.

Each level grants you a skill point. You can spend these points to improve your tank’s performance. Early grinding is important—jumping into fights too soon usually ends badly.

⚙️ Tank Upgrades

You can distribute points across eight different stats:

• Health Regen – Faster health recovery

• Max Health – Higher total health

• Body Damage – More damage when colliding

• Bullet Speed – Faster projectiles

• Bullet Penetration – Bullets pass through more targets

• Bullet Damage – Stronger shots

• Reload – Faster firing rate

• Movement Speed – Greater mobility

Your build determines your playstyle.

High bullet damage and speed create an aggressive glass-cannon setup.
High health and regeneration support a tankier survival-focused build.

Skill points become harder to earn at higher levels, so plan your build carefully.

🎮 Game Modes

Diep.io offers several modes beyond standard free-for-all:

• Free For All (FFA) – Everyone fights for themselves.

• Tag – Two teams; eliminated players switch sides. The team that converts everyone wins.

• Maze – FFA with walls and tight corridors, perfect for ambushes.

• Sandbox – Private mode for testing builds with friends.

• 2 Teams / 4 Teams – Team-based battles with safe respawn bases.

• Domination – Teams fight to capture and control powerful AI turrets called Dominators.

Each mode rewards different strategies—aggressive, defensive, or tactical positioning.

🧠 Survival Tips

• Farm shapes before engaging strong players.

• Avoid high-level tanks early on.

• Keep moving—stationary players are easy targets.

• Balance offense and defense depending on the mode.

Don’t forget to choose your tank color and gamer tag before entering battle.
